Journal # 4 My Perfect Mate un finished
The simplest thing my perfect mate would have is the ability to make me feel powerful under any circumstance even when I am under the worse predicament imaginable. He would be able to make me feel that everything will be okay as long as I keep moving forward. He would able to do that because he has a sense of direction. By that I mean, I want someone who knows where they want to be, why they want it and how to get to it. To me that is important to have in my perfect mate because if they have an understanding of themselves and has structure they could move forward with me. I would never want someone who does not have any sense of direction because I want to move forward in my life and I wouldn’t want to walk in circles along with them. My perfect mate would be smart and full of wisdom. Being smart is different from being wise, having both of these characteristics is admirable and I believe having both is important in my perfect mate. He would be funny, the type of funny where I laugh till I cry and he starts to think I’m crazy. He would laugh at my jokes or my quirky sense of humor. He would like to listen to me talk randomly about my millions of ideas. We would have deep conversations that are about important things to life, our culture and the real issues of our world and religion but at the same time be able to have light conversations about nothing really important like how cute animals are. Oh, did I forget to mention he should love animals as much as I do. He would be more than happy to own a million pets and be more than willing to take care of them with me.
